WrestleMania 37 is only a few months away. As the first pay-per-view to have a live audience in the post-pandemic era, WWE is gearing up for stellar storylines which will accommodate the larger-than-life approach of WrestleMania.

Whenever the event approaches, multiple creative meetings take place to decide the best storylines. After one such meeting recently, we got some spoilers.

WrestleVotes reports that multiple big matches have already been penned by the creative team. The SmackDown Championship matches and one rivalry from RAW are going to WrestleMania for sure.

They said, “Conversation with a source recently stated the latest WrestleMania creative meeting had Edge v Reigns, Belair v Banks, Orton v Wyatt, Bad Bunny Tag on the books w/ nearly everything else open, including the WWE title matchup. The same source stressed: nothing is set in stone, however.”

The Champions from RAW don’t have any probable opponents due to the highly unpredictable nature of their rivalries. Drew McIntyre is feuding with Sheamus, whereas Asuka is facing basically anyone and everyone.

Even if WWE makes McIntyre vs Sheamus for Mania, building the RAW Women’s Title match will be tricky.

Where do the probable matches fall at WrestleMania 37?

All the probable matches mentioned serve a purpose. All contenders have a history with each other, and they will get ample time to build upon it.

Edge vs Reigns was the first match to find itself in the thick of the rumors. Edge is aiming for the title he never lost and although the then-Heavyweight Championship is now defunct, Reigns’ Universal title is similar in prestige to the world title of SmackDown.

Banks vs Belair is also on the cards, as the latter has shown interest in the Blue Brand’s title from the very beginning. Belair is also from the SmackDown roster, so she does not have to switch sides.

However, the most-anticipated match on this card has to be Orton vs Wyatt. They have a history spanning half a decade and two rebirths. The Fiend will be back for his revenge soon, and his return coupled with the aesthetics of the WrestleMania stage will be bigger than ever.

Bad Bunny will be the celebrity entrant at Mania. As we reported earlier, WWE is hoping to get more Hollywood stars through this inclusion.
