Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn make a highly entertaining on-screen team. However, they share a flourishing friendship outside the ring as well. They’ve often had hilarious interactions on social media that have left the fans in splits.
Recently, Kevin Owens showed another example. Keeping the friendship in mind, he shared a screenshot of a chat that appears to be with Sami Zayn.

As we can see in the screenshot, Owens has Sami’s name saved as Rami (the wrestler’s real name is Rami Sebei) but edited it for the fans’ convenience.
Owens asked Zayn to like a previous tweet after which the duo revealed they got a standing ovation for that. The tweet in question is probably this one –

The tweet celebrated the second night of the draft and the brand change of Kevin Owens. After defeating Aleister Black, Kevin Owens was drafted back to SmackDown. Towards the end of the night, it was revealed that Zayn and his Intercontinental Championship would remain on the Blue Brand, hence, reuniting the best friends.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn may team up again
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn go long back with their friendship dating back to 2002. Their off-screen bromance is well documented and transcends well onto the screen.
They had a feud on SmackDown before teaming up together. Throughout 2017 and 2018, they fought alongside each other. However, the team disbanded after Zayn took a break from WWE to have a few surgeries.

Since then, the duo has been featured in several feuds with other Superstars. Zayn’s latest feud saw him winning the Intercontinental Championship back from Jeff Hardy and becoming a two-time Intercontinental Champion.

Owens had a brief feud with Aleister Black and Bray Wyatt. However, that seemed to end after the brand change.
Now that Owens and Zayn do not have an interesting storyline, WWE may put the two friends together in a team. WWE has an interesting tag team situation with both the tag team champions in different brands. The future duo of Owens and Zayn could certainly go after some gold.
