WWE official Adam Pearce recently revealed an unknown fact from his trainer days. The NWA Hall of Famer revealed that two current WWE Superstars used to turn up for training during his “open ring sessions.”
Pearce currently works as an on-screen official for WWE. Prior to his on-screen engagements, he used to be a trainer in the WWE Performance Center in Florida.
The five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion used to hold open ring sessions on Friday afternoon. The absence of any experience requirement made it beneficial for beginners. Needless to say, Corbin and Gable made most of the opportunity.

Pearce revealed this small piece of information via Twitter. “FUN FACT: When I coached at the PC full time, I’d hold open ring sessions on Friday afternoons available to anyone that wanted to train,” he wrote. “No experience limits/requirements. You know who came to most of them? Chad Gable and Baron Corbin. And I’ll never forget it.”

His expertise and skills were significant in shaping many wrestlers for the professional arena. Baron Corbin and Chad Gable were two of the many who had significant development because of Pearce’s training.
Adam Pearce is different than previous on-screen authorities
Adam Pearce took a subtle dig while speaking about The Authority. He pointed out that they are the controller of the game and hold enough power to strangle anyone.
“I think largely the authority figure role in recent years, especially, has been that of someone who looks down their nose. They are the establishment, They are the authority. They are the overarching control of everything that doesn’t hesitate to put their foot on the throat of everyone under them.”

Pearce drew a line in order to clarify that he, being an official, lacks the power to influence the events.
“I’m really the opposite of that in the sense that I am a WWF official. I am not a General Manager. There are no General Managers. I don’t necessarily have the power that would be as absolute as it has been in the past and perhaps because of that, I’m not as corrupted by that power.”
