This year, various wrestlers are declaring themselves into the Royal Rumble Battle Royale every day. As a part of this, former world champion Jeff Hardy has also jumped on the bandwagon.
In a video posted by WWE, Jeff Hardy said, “Greetings and salutations. My name is Jeff Hardy. I’ve done a lot of things in my wrestling career, man, and the one thing I haven’t done and I want to do is win the Royal Rumble.
“So I’m officially declaring my entry into the 2021 Royal Rumble match. Let’s do this!”

The 2-time world heavyweight champion has now joined Daniel Bryan, WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Otis, The Miz, Jey Uso, and Cesaro as the confirmed participants. Only 21 spots are left in the 30-man Battle Royale.
As far as the women’s division is concerned, the entrants for this year’s installment include one half of the Tag Team Champions, Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, Bayley, Bianca Belair, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, and Alexa Bliss.
Winners of the Royal Rumble matches will get a shot at any world title of their choice at WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium, Florida.
Jeff Hardy wanted to face The Fiend
Although he is currently feuding with Elias, Hardy wanted to face Bray Wyatt’s alter ego, The Fiend, in a unique cinematic match in WWE. Hardy even thought about debuting his alter ego Willow in the company.
“I think there’s something magical that can happen between Jeff Hardy and Bray Wyatt and The Fiend and Willow, my alter Nero that will come back to the life,” Hardy told Digital Spy.
“I have this huge vision of, like a black wedding dress and Willow’s almost like, not him or her, but just God. Some kind of a weird figure that doesn’t make sense to anybody.”

He wanted to team up with Fiend first and then face him at the Firefly Funhouse and Hardy Compound.
“It’s crazy, it’s very cinematic and I think there’s something very special that can happen between The Firefly Fun House and the Fly Light Zone and the imagination here at my property,” he continued.
