This past Monday on Raw, Retribution took on The Hurt Business in an eight-man elimination tag team match. With WWE having a complete no inter-gender fight policy, Retribution member Reckoning had to remain at ringside.

As the match was going on, both teams still had all their four members. Reckoning then thought of something to create an advantage. She dropped to the floor and showed that she was getting convulsions.

This helped Retribution eliminate MVP, but also got Reckoning dismissed from ringside. A fan suffering from seizures didn’t appreciate this and made his feelings known to the superstar.

He tweeted his personal feelings to Reckoning.

Reckoning replied to his fan by saying she was possessed, and it wasn’t a seizure. Furthermore, she claimed she will never fake a medical condition.

Reckoning is yet to wrestle a match since joining the main roster. Getting on the wrong side of the fans is certainly not a good way to start, but it could help draw more heat to the faction.

WWE may have got many things wrong with The Retribution

The group was supposed to be seekers of the truth and fight corruption in the WWE. However, they have become a victim of the same system they once wanted to change.

The group’s presence had its doubts right from the start. They were never portrayed as a proper threat to the stability of Monday Night Raw. Their debut also came at a wrong time, as most people were invested in the Randy Orton and Edge rivalry.

Their in-ring debut hasn’t been great. The group has lost their first two matches in two weeks. If things don’t change quickly, Retribution could already be a part of history.
