WWE RAW Preview (6/7/21): Contract Signing, Heavyweight Tag Team Match and More

With the build continuing for this month’s Hell in a Cell, tonight’s WWE RAW will feature some special segments (6/7/21). As of now, we have confirmed three such segments.

Let’s take a brief look at what RAW has to offer this week:

#1 Hell in a Cell contract signing between WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre on WWE RAW

Drew McIntyre is getting ready to face the WWE Champion at HIAC. The stipulations for the match are not yet announced.

However, through this contract signing, fans might get to know if the match will take place inside the infamous cell.

Interestingly, these signings almost never end up in silence, and a brawl breaks out. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has also hinted at a brawl at the signing.

#2 Alexa Bliss welcomes Shayna Baszler to her playground

For the past few weeks, Alexa Bliss and her demonic doll accomplice Lilly have been threatening the WWE RAW Women’s locker room. Last week, Alexa had Reginald as her guest in the playground.

However, Shayna decided to crash the meeting and attacked Reginald. Alexa never invited Shayna because Lilly does not like Shayna, which prompted the latter to say Lilly is “just a stupid doll.”

This week is the much-anticipated one-on-one between Shayna and Alexa (with Lilly). Following the news, Shayna wrote, “Alexa “welcomes” me?!? I invited myself. Laughable that anyone thinks I should be scared of little girls with dolls. That playground is set to be hit with a Hard Dose of #Reality.”

Something sinister is waiting to happen in the playground. Will Alexa target Shayna next? Will we see Nia Jax coming down to aid Shayna? We must tune in to RAW.

#3 Massive Five Team Battle Royale

Fans must remember the five-team ‘Tag Team Turmoil’ match at WrestleMania 37 to determine the number one contender for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. This week, WWE RAW is arranging a similar Tag Team Battle Royale.

Five teams would fight each other to become the new challengers to Omos and AJ Styles’ RAW Tag Team titles. The teams partaking in this match are – RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle), The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston), The Vikings (Erik and Ivar), Luch House Party (Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado), and Mace and T-Bar.

T-Bar has already said, “We do not care who ya got. We do not care about former champions. We do not care about sandals, snakes, horns, masks, or power rangers. The ONLY thing we care about is launching eight bodies into the rafters so we can fulfill our destiny as the next #WWERaw Tag Team Champions.”

In retaliation (and to ridicule), Iver of the Viking Raiders wrote, “What about face paint? Do you care about face paint? … Cause we care about face paint… and I think you care about face paint too…”

These are the confirmed segments of RAW tonight. However, we have to tune in to see the rest of the segments and matches. We can never anticipate who might turn up to entertain us.
