WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is on his second reign with the title. This is also his second stint in the company. Previously he was a mid-card superstar who was let go in 2014. However, he came returned in 2017 and embarked a meteoric rise to the top.

The ‘Scottish Psychopath‘  joined Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin in his Broken Skulls Podcast. A clip from the show showed Austin and McIntyre playing a word association game where Austin asked McIntyre a series of questions.

The champ was asked about his toughest opponent, and he revealed that it was his long-time friend Sheamus. Then Austin asked him who is the most underrated current WWE superstar? To this, McIntyre replied, “The standard answer for this is, Cesaro.”

Apart from these, Austin also asked some interesting personal questions like the best live concert McIntyre has been to, his cheat meals, and more. See the snippet video below –

Fans and critics have always acclaimed Cesaro for his athleticism and in-ring skills. However, he is yet to win a world title in WWE. The full-length podcast will go on air right after this Sunday’s TLC.

Drew McIntyre will face AJ Styles next on TLC

After a controversial loss to Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Survivor Series, McIntyre is adamant about restoring his previous glory as a credible champion. It was reported that Braun Strowman would face McIntyre at TLC. However, he was injured and kayfabe suspended.

Hence, Team Raw’s winning captain AJ Styles became the number one contender after defeating Keith Lee and Riddle in a triple threat match on Raw.

Before this, McIntyre was involved in a long feud with Randy Orton. ‘The Viper’ won the championship from McIntyre for a brief period, but ‘The Scottish Psychopath’ reclaimed his belt. Orton is now involved in a feud with Bray Wyatt. The duo will probably also have a singles match at TLC, but nothing is announced as of now.

Sheamus teased an alliance with McIntyre on RAW, but that storyline is also on hold. As of now. Cesaro was the SmackDown tag team champion with Nakamura, but they lost the titles to The New Day just before this year’s WWE Draft.
