Mustafa Ali has been gone from WWE for seven months now. He returned with a bang and he is here to stay.
Ali returned to Monday Night RAW and immediately established his dominance. The last time he was in the ring was back in February.
At that point, rumors were making rounds that Ali is the hacker on SmackDown. There is yet no confirmation whether this angle has been dropped or if the Superstar is taking it with him to RAW.

After being absent from the ring for months, Ali returns to the ring with Ricochet and Cedric Alexander. Initially, Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin were in the middle of a segment when Alexander and Ricochet interrupted them and introduced Ali’s return.
This interruption led to a 3-on-3 match between the two sides. Mustafa Ali landed the final blow to acquire the victory for his side.
Mustafa Ali opens up about his return at Monday Night RAW
During an interview, he was asked about his feelings towards this return. Ali seems to have a clear vision and that reflected through his answer. According to him, his return beginning with a victory is “bitter sweet”.
“I have been gone for nearly seven months now and for those seven months everyday I looked in the mirror and try to figure out what was wrong with me. Instead of blaming other people, instead of becoming a victim of circumstances, I looked in the mirror and decided ‘I would better myself’. I just proved that right now. I showed up unannounced on RAW on a 6-man tag against some heavy hitters – MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley and who walked out with the debut? me, Ricochet, Cedric Alexander. This is the future of the WWE standing right before you. I’m glad to be back.”
