There might be trouble in paradise for former WWE Champion The Miz and his aide John Morrison at the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash. Not only will The Miz face his WrestleMania opponent, Damian Priest, but in addition, he will have no way out this time as it will be a lumberjack match.
Last week, Priest defeated John Morrison in a singles competition. This week (05/10/21), The Miz, Morrison, and Priest got into an argument regarding their feud.
Thankfully, WWE official Adam Pearce took charge and scheduled a match between “the Hollywood A-Lister” and the “Archer of Infamy.” However, they still could not decide upon a stipulation.

Again, Pearce came to the rescue and suggested Morrison would face Priest later in the night. The winner of the match would pick out the stipulation. While Miz was hesitant, Morrison was confident he could beat Priest.

Damian Priest wins against John Morrison, will choose stipulation against The Miz
John Morrison and Damien Priest went head to head as The Miz looked on from the ringside. After an early pin attempt, Morrison hit back with repeated offenses and a pin attempt of his own.
Priest almost took Morrison out with a kick, but the latter held on to a rope. The Miz pulled Morrison to the ringside for some words of encouragement. Priest shoved Miz off the way and put Morrison back in the ring.

However, an infuriated Miz got ready to fight Priest over the ‘disrespect.’ During the match, Morrison threw the Archer out of the ring and distracted the referee while Miz kicked Priest in the face.
Damien tried his best to beat Morrison with repeated pin attempts, following a suplex and an aerial assault. Morrison almost got the win on Priest with a roll-up, but The Miz, unfortunately, distracted the referee.
Priest eventually won the match following a “Hit the Lights.” Miz assaulted Damian Priest following the match, but the latter quickly broke free and hit another Hit the Lights on Morrison to send a message.
“The Archer of Infamy” promptly chose the stipulation for the match. To get rid of the interferences, Damian Priest wants an all-inclusive Lumberjack match, where Superstars from all the brands will be present.
