On the latest edition of Raw, The Hurt Business walked down to the ring to challenge The New Day. MVP said weeks ago they wanted their price in gold after taking care of Retribution, and the tag championships were that form of gold.

The New Day walked out and was in some banter mood. Woods and Kingston took multiple shots at The Hurt Business. Woods constantly targeted Lashley, MVP, and Benjamin’s age, and poked fun by saying he used to watch them when he was in sixth grade.

Kingston then spoke about him winning more championships alone than Hurt Business winning combined. While the champs aced it on the mic, that wasn’t the case in the ring.

As the match panned out, Alexander knocked out Woods by hitting the top rope. The match ended as Alexander pinned Woods after Benjamin delivered the pay dirt on Woods.

The Hurt Business wants the championships of the New Day as their prize

As mentioned above, a week or two back, MVP revealed that Hurt Business should be rewarded if they take care of Retribution. His demands were a little high as he wanted the rewards in gold.

The Retribution has now been dealt with and it looks like they won’t come in Hurt Business’ way anytime soon. The Hurt Business already has one piece of Gold. Bobby Lashley has been an impressive and dominating United States Champion.

Benjamin and Alexander put on an impressive display when they defeated The New Day. This puts them in line for a tag team title shot.

However, they will have to wait for some time as The New Day is already booked for Survivor Series. They will face SmackDown tag team champions, The Street Profits.

Unless for any last minute Vince McMahon changes, The New Day have their championship at least for another month. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if MVP remains just a manager or we see a twist with him going after the WWE Championship (anything is possible in the WWE).
