New details have been unearthed in the rumored departure of WWE RAW Talk host and backstage interviewer Charly Caruso. Reports stated that her tendency to be late to interviews is the reason for the firing.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon pulled the plug on her after he heard Caruso was late to interview the likes of Sheamus and Randy Orton. After her current contract expires, WWE would not re-sign her.
To this, Industry insider Dave Meltzer added more details. Apparently, Caruso’s ‘backstage heat’ with multiple people led to her ill fate. On the recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer also speculated Caruso might be fired already.

“I heard she was fired and then other people reported that she’s just not gonna be used and they are gonna wait for her contract to be out. I don’t know which one of those is accurate. She had too much heat with too many different people, and that was the story.”
WWE recently hired Kevin Patrick as the new backstage host and the new host for RAW Talk. This certainly led to more speculations. WWE and Caruso are both yet to comment on the situation.
Could Charly Caruso end up in AEW?
Charly is a popular figure among fans since her signing with WWE in 2016. Following Renee Young’s departure last year, Caruso rose in the ranks to host RAW Talk and held various backstage interviews.
Following her departure in AEW, Caruso might end up in AEW, like many WWE Superstars today. Meltzer reported how Caruso knows Tony Khan personally, and that could be beneficial.
