Weeks later, The Kabuki Warriors challenged Bayley and Sasha Banks for the Women’s tag team titles. Unfortunately, the Kabuki warriors came up short.

The next week on the 20th July edition of Monday Night RAW, Kairi Sane was scheduled in a match with SmackDown women’s champion Bayley. The departure rumors lost some pitch when Sane caused an upset over Bayley.

On the latest edition of RAW, Kairi Sane accompanied Asuka to the ring for the RAW women’s championship match. Sane then chased Bayley to the back to eliminate interferences in the match between Asuka and Sasha Banks.

As the match was being evenly contested, live backstage footage played on the titantron. Bayley was assaulting and ambushing Kairi Sane.

This put the women’s champion in an emotional dilemma as she was in her championship match. Asuka went to save her friend backstage and lost the title as the stipulation allowed Banks to win by count-out.

This definitely can be the last the WWE universe saw of Kairi Sane in the company. Following the latest edition of RAW, WWE posted this from their official Twitter account.

Sane had a great start to her career on the main roster. She captured the tag team titles alongside Asuka. After losing the titles to Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, things weren’t the same for her.

Months later, she is no more in the WWE. Whether its because of COVID budget cuts or her own desire to go back to her home town, this is a big loss. WWE has certainly let a big one slip off their fingers.
