WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will take on Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell tonight. This would be the third bout between these men this year, and Lashley is ready for some new challenges.
Ahead of the match, Lashley spoke to Anthony Sulla-Heffinger of Yahoo! Sports and discuss various aspects of his career. In his 16 years long career, this is the first WWE title, and “The Almighty” is cherishing it a lot.

However, Drew has not let go of the title so easily. He dropped it to MITB contract holder The Miz at Elimination Chamber last year, and Lashley won it from the “Must-see superstar” in the following weeks.
After Lashley is done with McIntyre, he said he would love to face someone as enigmatic as Kofi Kingston. The New Day member is known for his KofiMania moment a few years ago, and Lashley wants that to happen again.
“Someone like me stepping up in a fight against Kofi.” Lashley gave his honest opinion. “It should be a layup and that’s not how people think it will go down.”
“That’s what excites me about Kofi. I like Kofi and what he’s done for the business, and to have a fight with him, I would love to have that opportunity. He was a world champion and the one opportunity that he didn’t get was to have another shot at the title.”
Initially, fans speculated The New Day (as prominent babyfaces) will take on The Hurt Business (heels) on RAW. However, things went a different route, and the latter broke up.

Bobby Lashley is looking for next opponents
Apart from Kofi, there are plenty of challenges in the RAW roster. The red brand is full of seasoned veterans as well as new talents. Lashley acknowledges that as well.
“If you look at the roster for Raw, it’s a very exciting time. There are probably about eight guys who are right there at that level — Randy Orton, A.J. Styles, Keith Lee, Miz, Morrison, Elias, Ryker, Priest. There are guys who are ready to step up and it’s exciting for me. I’m looking forward to it,” he said.

As of now, he is focused on his match with Drew. It would be a ‘last-chance Hell in a Cell match,’ meaning McIntyre can not challenge Lashley’s championship again if he loses tonight.
