Kofi Kingston was out for almost five months because of an ankle injury. He returned to action on the August 7 edition of Raw. It has just been a few weeks and the former World Champion has already started winning hearts again.

Today on Monday Night Raw, he went one-on-one against Ivar from The Viking Raiders and delivered an incredible performance inside the squared circle. Seeing him perform so well, mere weeks after recovering from a major injury has left the WWE Universe deeply impressed with him.

On tonight’s edition of WWE’s Flagship show, both Kofi Kingston and Ivar put on an amazing show. But it was The New Day member who came out on top after the bout. The match had many interesting spots. But what caught most people’s attention was Kingston kicking out of his opponent’s moonsault from the top rope.

The WWE Universe was all praise for Kingston after his match on Raw, especially for the resistance he showed during the match. The fans were in utter disbelief as to how Kingston muttered up the strength to kick out before the 3-count after he endured a 304 lb brutal shot in the middle of the ring.
