Tonight on Raw, R-Truth defended his 24/7 championship in a 7-way match against Drew Gulak, Tucker, Akira Tozawa, Erik, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado. This match was definitely one of a kind.
This championship match created an all-time record on Monday Night Raw as the 24/7 championship changed hands nine times in the duration of the show!
The first title change took place during a backstage segment on Raw. After being attacked by the Hurt Business, R-Truth took the opportunity and pinned Drew Gulak. This added another reign to the high number of 24/7 title wins of Truth.

The seven-way match saw eight title changes during the match. This is the most number of times a title has changed hands in a single match. Here is the order of all title changes.
Drew Gulak started the night on an ultimate high; however, that wasn’t the case when the night ended.
Drew Gulak wants to join the Hurt Business on Raw
Earlier on Raw, The Hurt Business was backstage and Gulak walked up. Gulak made an extension plan for the group and proposed himself to join the faction. MVP appreciated the seriousness of Gulak’s ideas. However, the group was not accepting applications at the moment.

United States champion Lashley found out that Gulak had worn a clip-on tie, and that irritated MVP as the group always dresses with style. Gulak claimed it to be a tactical move as he has to always be prepared as a 24/7 champion.

MVP felt Gulak had a point, however, but the other members were still unhappy with the clip-on tie. After the cruel beat-down, Truth saw an opportunity and pinned Gulak to win the 24/7 championship.
