WWE legend John Cena returned to SmackDown last night and announced himself as the host of Payback 2023. However, in order to do so, Cena also hinted at taking advice from his long-time rival and multiple-time WWE show host, The Miz.

At Payback 2023, before LA Knight versus The Miz began, the latter provided Cena with several pieces of advice on being a host. He also imparted some crucial career advice regarding Cena’s latest role in Margot Robbie’s Barbie.

What crucial advice did The Miz provide regarding John Cena’s latest role in Barbie?

Before LA Knight versus The Miz could begin, the two greats on the mic, The Miz and Cena engaged in a heated exchange of words. With both of them getting the better of each other. However, The Miz would prove why he is regarded as one of the greatest speakers of all time, with one line.

As the two continued exchanging shots at each other, The Miz would bring up Cena’s latest role in Barbie, opposite Dua Lipa. The 251 lbs Cena played the role of a merman in Barbie alongside Barbie’s mermaid Dua Lipa.

The Miz would bring that up, and state, “When they called you to be a merman in a Barbie movie, you’d say NO.” It was extremely hilarious seeing The Miz get the better of Cena, which is a rare occasion.

However, Cena would later become the special guest referee in The Miz’s match against Knight, and help Knight secure the victory.
