Roman Reigns has done what he promised during the closing segment of SmackDown this past Friday night. The Big Dog gave a huge spoiler at the end of the show and lived up to it.

The main event started with Bray Wyatt walking out first in the form of The Fiend. The Universal champion got blindsided by Strowman who attacked him in the dark.

The two Superstars almost killed each other; that’s how personal this rivalry has become for Strowman and Wyatt. The Fiend put Strowman through the announcer’s table area, after which Bray Wyatt found a new toy.

The fight then went to the stage area near the entrance. Strowman did a running body block that knocked both of them off the stage after recovering from a Sister Abigail.

The action returned to the ring as The ‘Monster Among Men’ was climbing up to the top rope. Wyatt countered delivering a superplex to Strowman, destroying the ring in the process.

The Big Dog then appeared with his new friend Paul Heyman and a steel chair in hand. Reigns stood at the entrance and signed the contract of the match which he had refused to sign back on Friday Night. He called for a new referee and tried to pin both men but to no avail.

Strowman was attacked with the chair but shockingly, he still kicked out at two. Wyatt then put Reigns into the mandible claw. The Big Dog then hit the low blow to take Fiend out of the equation. He followed it up with a spear to Strowman. Reigns pinned Strowman and regained the Universal Championship he never lost.

No one saw the return of Roman Reigns coming

The Juggernaut wasn’t seen in the WWE since weeks before WrestleMania 36 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, he shocked everyone with his unexpected return at WWE SummerSlam.

Reigns cut the Fiend’s celebrations short and speared him. He then dismantled The ‘Monster Among Men’ by assaulting him with a steel chair.

The Big Dog then entered the ring and speared Wyatt again. Post the spear, the intentions were clear – Roman Reigns was coming for the Universal Championship.
