The seventh edition of Payback, emanating from the PPG Paints Arens in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, saw new champions being crowned. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn fought hard but failed to retain their gold. Now, The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest are in possession of the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship.

However, fans aren’t happy. Priest and Balor also received ample support from their other team members- Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley- and JD McDonagh, who played a vital role during the bout.

Dominik Mysterio emerges as MVP for The Judgment Day

It has been only a year since Dominik Mysterio turned heel and joined The Judgment Day, much to his father’s dislike. However, the 26-year-old is proving to be the pivot in the stable.

It was Dirty Dom who hit Sami Zayn with the Mr. Money In The Bank briefcase- which belongs to Priest- to allow Balor to pin the Canadian and take the gold off of him.

Even as The Judgment Day celebrated the win, some users took to X to complain about the development and did not share the sentiment.
