Gable Steveson made history at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics winning Gold in the finals of the Men’s freestyle 125 kg category. His win against Gino Petriashvili of Georgia ended a two-decade drought for a gold medal in heavyweight wrestling for USA. Bruce Baumgartner had previously won gold for USA at the 1992 Olympics.

The 21-year-old was always confident of winning gold at the Olympics, and he did just that! The entire United States is bustling with joy. Every single American is proud of Gable, including WWE Legend Triple H.

For those unaware, ‘The Game‘ has constantly been vocal about Steveson’s prowess on the mat and beyond.

Triple H in awe of Gable Steveson for winning a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

Gable Steveson did what he set out to do, and that is win Gold at the Olympic Games. While videos of his family’s emotional celebration are doing rounds, the who’s who of sports and entertainment are wishing the 21-year-old a hearty congratulations for making history.

WWE Legend Triple H took to Twitter to congratulate Steveson on his emphatic win. The ‘King of Kings’ pointed out how focused Steveson was until the last minute and even appreciated his signature backflip celebration! The official Twitter account of WWE also wished Gable Steveson on his win.

Triple H has been following Gable Steveson’s career for quite sometime now. A few days ago, after Steveson’s win in the Semi-Finals, Triple H gave him a new nickname, the ‘Machine.’ Honestly, looking at Steveson’s impressive performance on the mat, it’s no secret he’s a machine that doesn’t stop no matter what!
