WWE Universe Label Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley as Massive “Headaches to Watch” Following Their Challenge on NXT

Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio are currently involved in a storyline in NXT. But it looks like the fans are neither invested nor interested in it. Last week, Mysterio dodged a bullet and retain his title against Dragon Lee. But Ripley was caught in the aftermath.

After the match, when Ripley started to badmouth Rey Mysterio, who came down to offer his support to Lee, Lyra Valkyria came to the ring and flattened the Women’s World champion with a kick to the face. This week, Ripley reacted to the humiliation she suffered and challenged Lee and Valkyria to a match against her and her ‘Latino Heat’.

Rhea Ripley wants payback at WWE NXT Heatwave next week

‘The Eradicator’ beat Valkyria on the August 25 edition of NXT and retained her Women’s World Championship. Though Valkyria lost the match that day, she had earned the champ’s respect. But after humiliating Ripley last week in the middle of the ring, Ripley claims she has made herself a walking target.

In a brief backstage segment during this week’s developmental brand show, Ripley challenged Lee and Valkyria to a tag team match against her and ‘Dirty Dom’ at NXT Heatwave next week. She even asked them not to keep her and Mysterio waiting and start preparing to work as a team if they want to face them.

The WWE Universe doesn’t seem thrilled about this match card next week. Wrestling fans are getting fed up with the usual Judgment Day drama and want something new to spice things up.

WWE has been teasing a Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez feud for quite some time now. In case you missed, Ripley attacked Rodriguez before their Women’s Tag Team Championship match. This caused Rodriguez and Liv Morgan to lose their titles.

Rodriguez had been out for a while due to the injury. But she returned last week to even settle the score with ‘Mami’. With tension building between the two female starts, Rodriguez might face the champ for the title at payback and even dethrone her.
