A while back, former NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa, cleaned off his Twitter and Instagram accounts. However, he recently returned to the latter with an amazing transformation journey.
With preparing “six meals a day, every day. Roughly eleven cardio sessions per week. Five weight training sessions,” Ciampa got the desired physique after 13 long weeks. Ciampa recollected his journey in an Instagram post as mentioned earlier.
He noted that the journey was “as much a mental health journey as it was a physical health journey.” In early 2019, Ciampa had to relinquish his NXT title because of a ‘career-threatening injury.’ He came back to the ring towards the end of that year after recovery.

Tommaso noted how that injury acted as a motivation for his transformation. “Celebrating being two years removed from career-ending neck surgery, wanting to push myself beyond my limits without using “being a dad” as an excuse, turning thirty-six years old, and taking control of the things that I can control,” Ciampa wrote in the caption.

The Superstar also thanked his wife, ” for allowing me to commit to this and fully supporting my journey. I know I’m insane, but she gets me.”
Ciampa thanked his trainer AJ and his training partner, The Dump Boys. He also noted how he enjoyed “every second” of the journey.
Tommaso Ciampa wants to be a part of WrestleMania
Ciampa also returned to Twitter on the same day as he returned to Instagram. He also expressed his desire to be a part of WM 22 next year. “WrestleMania season started April 12th, yeah? Don’t think I’ve ever been on that show…” he wrote.

Currently, he is paired up with his former rival, Timothy Thatcher, on WWE NXT. On the last episode of Tuesday Night NXT, Thatcher and Ciampa defeated the team of The Grizzled Young Veterans.
Hence, the team moved one step closer to WWE NXT Tag Team Champions MSK. Ciampa, in singles competition, unsuccessfully challenged the NXT UK Champion Walter at TakeOver: Stand and Deliver.
