Did you know that WWE reshot the segment between Karrion Kross and Samoa Joe on August 3rd? The episode was actually filmed on Wednesday, following the defeat of the current NXT Champion, who made his RAW debut. Kross was defeated by the hands of veteran wrestler, Jeff Hardy.

According to reports, one particular segment, which was taped for the August 3rd episode of NXT, had to be re-shot. This happened when Karrion Kross was cutting a promo on Samoa Joe. The fans took over the show and started chanting “Hardy” to rub salt on the wounds of the champion.

According to Bodyslam.net, a fan reported that an NXT crew member lied to the audience to keep them in the arena for the re-shoot. The fan said,

“They even lied to us and said something special was going to happen so we wouldn’t leave.” One source said. “[A Crew Member] told me the show wasn’t over. When [we] tried to leave, he told us there was a surprise.”

The fans run WWE

Fans hijacking a show or event is nothing out of the ordinary. If the WWE universe does or doesn’t like something, they won’t hesitate to voice their opinions. But it is rare to see WWE actually re-shoot a segment because of the fans. This just goes to show the true powers the fans hold in the company.

The fans quickly took to Twitter and couldn’t stop talking about the segment.
