If there is one thing WWE is not short of, it is its ability to churn out new and young talents to fill the roster. Von Wagner is one such young and talented wrestler who has been the talk of the town following his NXT Fatal Four Way match.

Wagner was brought on as a replacement for Kyle O’Reilly. He received a lot of praise for his NXT 2.0 debut this week. According to reports, WWE management sees the debutant as a future WrestleMania main eventer.

“Everyone is comparing him to a young Edge. He is rough around the edges but he has something and Vince thinks he can be a big deal but it will take some time,” via WrestlingNews.co “Vince sees him as a future WrestleMania main eventer. That should tell you everything about his future here.”

It is very rare to see WWE management deeming a wrestler as main event material on his WWE NXT debut. Coming from a wrestling background, maybe greatness is in his genes. Wagner is the son of former WWE/WCW star Wayne Bloom. Wagner’s father wrestled as Beau Beverly of the Beverly Brothers tag team.

Von Wagner will take time to develop

Even though Wagner has wrestling blood running through his veins, he will take time to develop into what WWE wants him to be. WWE officials just cannot push him to the moon without proper training in every department. His promo ability needs to be on par with his wrestling ability. He could be the next John Cena if given proper training. Vince McMahon was fully behind Cena, the same could happen with Wagner. Especially with the size and strength, we could be in for something special.
