For the past decade, if a wrestler wants to make it big in WWE, he or she has to go through NXT first. The Black & Gold brand of WWE is responsible for churning out and shaping the superstars of tomorrow. “To me, NXT has always been the face of the future. I really truly believe that.” Kross continues, “I believe that anyone that’s going to do anything in WWE for the future, to be the next Cena, to be the next Reigns, the next Steve Austin, the next Rock, that whole line-up of people. Karrion’s words are true to the letter. Some of the biggest names in the main roster are indeed wrestlers promoted from NXT. Karrion Kross gives an honest opinion about NXT
As the interview continued, Kross stated he feels like in NXT, if one’s not willing to meet the standard there, then there are a lot of hungry people who will swallow them up. According to the champ, the standard is very high in NXT and it gets higher and higher every few months or so.
Kross also reiterated that NXT forces a wrestler to be the best version of themselves. They just have to find it. Even when a wrestler thinks he or she is the best version of themselves, they have to dig a little bit deeper. They got to find more. That’s what NXT does.
