Karrion Kroos, who is the current NXT Champion, recently made his debut for WWE RAW. The two-time NXT Champion had a disastrous debut as he was defeated by the WWE legend Jeff Hardy in a one-on-one match. Kroos’ debut for RAW was undoubtedly not a one-night thing as multiple reports suggest Kroos will drop his NXT title to Joe and then be permanently shifted to RAW.
The writing is on the wall, and all the signs suggest that Samoa Joe is destined to become the next NXT Champion unless WWE decides to shock the audience by keeping Kroos as the champion. A victory on NXT Takeover 36 will be the third time Joe ends up being the NXT Champion.
