Major WWE Superstar Makes A Shocking Heel Turn on WWE NXT

On this week’s WWE NXT, we saw another heel turn. Former NXT UK Women’s Champion Toni Storm turned heel for the first time in her career.

After an eight-month hiatus, Toni returned to in-ring action at NXT TakeOver 31. She and Ember Moon teamed up to form a babyface group.

This week on NXT, Moon faced Candice LeRae in the opening match. LeRae defeated Moon with a superkick and a Wicked Stepsister. However, the assault only started with the loss.

LeRae, Dakota Kai, and Raquel Gonzalez ganged up on Moon as the latter fell outside the ring. Toni Storm tried to pick her friend up and the pair ran back to the ring to fight back.

Instead, Moon was stopped mid-run and laid out by Storm, who threw her inside the ring to be destroyed.

Toni Storm is a part of WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames

After the turn, LeRae announced Storm as the latest member of her NXT WarGames team. The team consists of LeRae, Dakota Kai, and Storm.

They will go up against ShotZi BlackHeart, who is yet to announce her team. In the backstage interview, Toni Storm revealed in a quick statement that she promised a new version of herself when she came back to NXT.

WWE has turned natural babyfaces into heels to lift their career. Stars like Daniel Bryan, Becky Lynch, and recently, Roman Reigns, gained immense popularity and acclaim after their heel turn.
