Being a Champion in WWE for more than a year is a feat only a few have achieved. Adam Cole, a Superstar who has achieved so, had a message that put out a notice for every Superstar in the NXT locker room.
I will put this as simple as I can. I have carried NXT on my back for over a year. For over a year, people have said I would lose the NXT championship. And EVERY SINGLE TIME I have proved them wrong. In 2 weeks, I cement my legacy as the greatest champ this brand has ever seen.

Adam Cole is currently the longest-reigning champion of the NXT brand. Cole won the NXT championship back in June 2019. It’s been a year and counting since he won the title. He has continuously defended his championship over the course of the year. Cole has been one of the few stars to look out for the future.
Adam Cole has a message to deliver
Adam Cole in his latest tweet glorifies how much of an athlete he is. Cole reminds everyone that he is still “The guy” in NXT. He proclaims that he has been carrying NXT on his back for over a year. Adam Cole sees himself as the best thing that has happened to NXT. He promises to keep his reign intact and defend it.
Cole will face WWE NXT North American Champion next week in a winner takes all match. It is highly unlikely that Cole will drop the title to Keith. By the looks of it, Cole will make history pinning Keith for his title. However, WWE writers could be planning a different ending for Cole’s story in NXT.

A few days back, Scarlett stood outside the ring and placed an hourglass which hinting that the end is near for Cole. She left the arena as the name of Karrion Kross was shown.
Kross is someone who has made a name for himself wrestling across many promotions. Kross made headlines defeating Tommaso Ciampa shortly after his debut. Now, Kross looks to make his mark on NXT and has set his eyes on the NXT Champion.
This interaction could have been a way of a message sent by WWE to the fans that it is indeed the end for Cole at NXT. He has spent a long time at the brand and could be making the big move soon. Already having reigned for a year, WWE would be looking to cash in on Cole.

The tweet, however, looks like a reminder to the fans on how good Adam Cole has been for NXT. He has been the face of the brand for over a year and has lived up to the expectation of Triple H.
The message also puzzles the fans in some ways. Whether it’s all a setup for Cole to drop his title and make his much-awaited debut for the main roster is still unclear. Giving Kross the title would be a huge boost to his career, but would WWE give him that push is the question of the hour. Do you think Kross would be a fitting Champion? Leave your comments below.
