The year 1995 saw the biggest setback in the WWE Women’s division. This was when the WWE Women’s Champion, Alundra Blayze, threw the title in the trash can on WCW LIVE TV. Due to these actions, Vince McMahon had to eliminate the women’s division from WWE for a while.
However, 20 years later, Blayze and Mr. McMahon buried the hatchet as WWE inducted her into the Hall of Fame. Moreover, she reversed her actions at the Hall of Fame Ceremony.

On the latest episode of NXT 2.0, Blayze made an appearance while Roxxane Perez was being interviewed backstage. The only Paul Heyman Girl brought a trash can along with her where Perez talked about Cora Jade’s actions.
Blayze said, “Over 25 years ago I dumped the Women’s title in the trash. And it took a very very long time to crown a new Women’s Champion.”
She added, “This time it won’t take any long, because next week we are going to have a fatal four-way elimination tag team match. And the winning team will become the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.”
