After Vince McMahon retired from all of his WWE roles earlier this year, his daughter Stephanie McMahon became the Chairwoman. Moreover, the creative department is handled by WWE Hall of Famer Triple H with the help of his DX member Road Dogg. Hunter handled NXT for a long time alongside another DX co-founder, Shawn Michaels. Surprisingly, one more DX member is ready to join NXT for assisting HBK.

Earlier this month Shawn Michaels introduced the fans with a new match. The WWE Universe will see the first ever Iron Survivor Challenge. The match will take place on 10th December 2022 at NXT Deadline.
WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is working on selecting the competitors for the match. However, recently, NXT shared on Twitter that another WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman aka X-Pac will join NXT to assist HBK for the same. X-Pac will assist HBK in selecting the participants for the Iron Survivor Challenge.

Michaels had announced previously that the competitors for this match will be finalized before Deadline. It seems that next week’s NXT episode will see competitors finalized for the same. Waltman is a 2-time WWE Hall of Famer (once with DX and once with nWo) and will be on the show to select the best.
Furthermore, the superstar who will win the Iron Survivor Challenge will be the number one contender for the NXT title. All the stars are awaiting to be a part of the match and compete with the champion. This challenge will happen in both men’s and women’s division.

What rules should WWE superstars follow for this match type ?
A couple of weeks ago, while announcing the Iron Survivor Challenge, the WWE Hall of Famer shared the rules of the match too. The rules are exciting and fans will surely get to witness something new.

Michaels shared in this 25-minute match the five selected NXT superstars will compete with each other. Additionally, a new star will enter every five minutes and there will be a time limit for the match. The superstar with the most points will win the match.
The primary goal of the match will be to score the most points in 25-minutes. The points will be counted as per the falls a star has done. Every disqualification, submission and pinfall will be a point for the participants in the match.
Furthermore, there is a penalty for NXT stars and he/she will be in a box for 90 seconds after getting pinned or submitted. However, after 90 seconds, they can enter the match again. The winner will be the star with the most points and face for their respective divisions’ NXT title.

Sean Waltman’s memorable moments in pro-wrestling

Sean Waltman is a veteran and a legend in professional wrestling. He joined WWE in 1993 and went by the name The Kamikaze Kid, The Cannonball Kid and then simply The Kid. X-Pac’s most memorable moment as The Kid is pinning Razor Ramon on RAW and hence getting the name 1-2-3 Kid.

He left WWE and spent a couple of years in WCW as Syxx. Surprisingly, his career took a major upward turn when he returned to WWE in 1998 and joined DX. He is the first WCW wrestler to jump back to WWE. Waltman won several mid card titles in WWE around the Attitude Era. Post WWE, he wrestled in TNA and several other promotions.
