The fans in the arena and the ones watching from home could feel the tension in the air when Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly came face to face in this week’s episode of WWE NXT. Cole and Reilly have been in a fierce rivalry for ages and have already locked horns twice.

The NXT Takeover 36 will be the third and last addition to this barbaric rivalry, as fans are eager to watch the end of this saga. Adam Cole took to Twitter to send a feisty message to the WWE Universe after the show, which has now caught the eye of the wrestling world.

Adam Cole vs Kyle O’Reilly in a two out of three falls match at NXT TakeOver 36

The GM of NXT William Regal on NXT brought the two Undisputed Era members, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly, to the same ring. Regal then announced that The Undisputed Finale of the Cole and Reilly Saga would be a two out of three falls match.

Both Cole and Reilly excelled at their promos as fans got excited watching the duo have a verbal spat at each other. Now Adam Cole has embedded the footage of his face-off with Reilly in a tweet.

Cole captioned the tweet with a prepotent line in the promo when things got heated between him and Kyle. The former NXT Champion tweeted- “I’m the greatest NXT has, and will ever see. Period.” Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly were spitting fire with their promos, but Cole came on top.

Cole and his claim of being the greatest superstar to set foot in NXT

Adam Cole’s journey at WWE NXT is nothing short of phenomenal. The leader of the Undisputed Era is the longest-reigning NXT Champion of all time, as his title reign last for over 400 days. In addition, Cole has won almost everything in the black and gold brand and is the second NXT Superstar to be crowned as the NXT Triple Crown Champion.

These accolades, along with his excellent wrestling skills and impeccable promo skills, make him undoubtedly one of the most outstanding wrestlers to be part of NXT.

WWE has a huge issue to deal with as Adam Cole’s contract will expire after NXT Takeover 36. Multiple reports suggested that the meeting between Vince McMahon and Adam Cole that happened a week before was to deal with Cole’s contract issues.

Whether Cole signed a new contract on that day is anyone’s guess. If not, then there is a possibility that the self-proclaimed greatest in the NXT could walk away from WWE and end up signing for AEW. Never say Never!
