Adam Cole may not be fighting at this week’s NXT TakeOver, but he will be in attendance at the Full Sail campus to support his long-time friend and team member, Kyle O’Reilly. The Undisputed Era’s loyal soldier will fight Finn Balor for the NXT Championship.
In a recent tweet, Adam Cole celebrated his decade-long friendship with Kyle. He is sure that O’Reilly will be the new champion.

Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly have been together since their Ring of Honor days, where they formed a tag-team called “Future Shock.” In the tweet, Adam referred to that. In NXT, the duo is part of the heel fraction called Undisputed Era with Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong.

Will Adam Cole and Kyle O-Reilly form another fraction?
The Undisputed Era members have known each other for 12 years, and the group is one of the strongest in NXT. At one point, all the members held a title with Adam Cole as the NXT Champion, Roderick Strong as the NXT North American Champion, and Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish as the NXT Tag Team Champions.

However, recent reports have suggested a power struggle within the group, something that was denied by both O’Reilly and Cole. When asked if he was ever going to fight Adam Cole for the title, Kyle quickly denied it.
“We have fought each other in the past and been bitter arrivals and dare I say, enemies. But man, that’s just the past. Really, we’ve both grown up so much as individuals and performers. It’s just different now, man,” O’Reilly said. “I honestly don’t think we will ever fight each other again. He’s genuinely one of my best friends along with Roderick Strong, along with Bobby Fish.”
Last week, O’Reilly won the gauntlet match and became the number one contender for Balor’s NXT Championship. Cole showed his support for his friend on Twitter as well. He tweeted –

There were some reports of the Undisputed Era breaking up and Adam Cole added fuel to the fire with his tweet. We will have to wait for further updates.
