Dwayne Johnson is going the extra mile for the promotion of his new movie, Black Adam. Going on a world tour to promote the DCEU movie, Johnson went where his younger self would never; a Toronto Maple Leafs game. While there are only a few days remaining for the release of the movie worldwide, Johnson is running his final lap to make the movie the biggest theatrical release this year.

Even before its release, the talk about Black Adam and its eventual sequels and its impact on the entire DCEU has been massive. But many fans have expressed that even if the movie is not good enough, they would love to watch it just for the dedication that Johnson has shown the project.

He kept his promises and delivered a movie for the fans, something that’s very rare in Hollywood right now. But as there are many well-wishers, there are just an equal amount of haters as well. Something that the Toronto Maple Leafs know very well about.

The younger version of Johnson was a hater of the Maple Leafs when he made it clear on an episode of WWE/F. While he was acting as the hellish Rock feuding with Steve Austin, Johnson had some choice words for the hockey team while being in a Canadian stadium. He said on the show, “Stronger than a bear, Faster than a buck, The biggest thing to hit Canada Because the Maple Leafs s**k!

On the topic of wrestlers talking trash about the Maple Leafs, one of their own did the same. In the recent episode of AEW Dynamite, the show started when WWE legend, Christian Cage, came out. He said, “I’m gonna go right ahead and guarantee a victory tonight. Not just any guarantee, I’m talking this guarantee is locked in 100%. It’s like the Toronto Maple Leafs losing in the first round of the playoffs guarantee.”

But that was before Hollywood and before all the fame and popularity that came along with it. Now, ‘The Rock’ is helping everyone around him grow while getting bigger than ever. While many things could go wrong with Black Adam, Johnson has given his all to this project.
