In the last decade, Roman Reigns has become a top star in WWE, but we shouldn’t rule out his college football career. The Tribal Chief is an avid follower of the NFL and a few times we see him sharing his take on the matches. Recently, a former Dallas Cowboys star who once took a shot at Patrick Mahomes’ way of playing called Reigns’ opinion regarding the next Super Bowl as “biased”.
This came after the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion showed his support to his favorite team, i.e. San Francisco 49ers. The former NFL player had once taken a jibe at Mahomes after Kansas City Chiefs lost to Cincinnati Bengals.

Recently, The Head of the Table and Paul Heyman appeared on ESPN First Take. Stephen A. Smith asked Roman Reigns to pick his top 5 list of Super Bowl LVIII. However, former Dallas Cowboys defensive end, Marcus Spears didn’t like the WWE superstars list.
Spears said, “Number one Rom, you’re biased. So your number one pick goes out of the window because you are biased. You’re just being a fan of the San Francisco 49ers. We don’t even know that Brock Purdy really that good. He has only played seven games in NFL and you want to top him as a Super Bowl contender.”
The 40-year-old added, “Why in hell would you put the Kansas City Chiefs at two and anything? Have you watched the NFL for the last 2 or 3 years? They ain’t two and nothing outside losing in the Super Bowl. That’s the only time they lose Rom.”
The Needlemover named five teams on his list. Those were Buffalo Bills on five, Cincinnati Bengals on four, and Philadelphia Eagles on three. Surprisingly, he put the Super Bowl LVII champions Kansas City Chiefs on number two while calling the San Francisco 49ers the potential winner for Super Bowl LVIII, by putting it on number one.
Swagu, bashed Reigns over his list as he thought The Head of the Table favored the 49ers. Moreover, Spears was also not happy that his former team wasn’t on the list.

After sharing his take on Roman Reigns’ list, Swagu questioned The Tribal Chief why Dallas Cowboys were not on the list. Spears asked Stephen to run the numbers he claimed the Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFC.
Reigns had already included the 2023 Super Bowl runner-up Eagles in the list which is from the NFC division. However, Spear, who spent nearly seven years with the Dallas Cowboys, wished to see his former team on the contender list of the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Clearly, the 40- year-old NFL analyst didn’t acknowledge The Tribal Chief’s list. What are your thoughts? Do you think Roman Reigns favored the 49ers? Share your opinion below.
