Tom Brady announced his retirement earlier this year but reversed his decision 40 days later to play for the 2022 NFL season. But as the year was a bit harsh for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback, the fans are too.
There are several criticisms from the fans and several sports experts over Brady’s game this season. There were some games in which the seven-time NFL champion, but the 45-year is still in great shape, as per a WWE legend.

A 73-year-old WWE Hall of Famer recently came out in support of the quarterback, as many are criticizing Brady.
Ric Flair supports Tom Brady
It is no secret that ‘The Nature Boy’ is a fan of and long-time supporter of Tom Brady. Once in a while, Ric Flair shares appreciation posts and defends the California Cool on social media.
Similarly, recently on To Be the Man podcast, he showed his support to Brady for being criticized by people for a bad season.
Slick-Ric said, “In Europe, you never get old. You become more revered. Over here, you can have one bad day, throw one bad pitch and you’re the worst player…They’re picking on Brady. Brady is not playing bad football. Mike Evans can’t catch.”
The 2-time WWE Hall of Famer added, “I’m standing up for Tom, baby. You can’t throw any disrespect at seven damn Super Bowl rings. And [Aaron] Rodgers cannot catch the ball that he’s throwing at two receivers. Jesus how many balls can these guys drop?” (H/T Wrestling News)
Brady is currently 45-year-old and there are talks about whether he will return to play the next season or not. Tom Terrific, had previously star, had stated of playing till the age of 45-years old.
However, he will turn 46 before the next season start and talks about his return are once again coming up.
Flair had made these comments before the Buccaneers lost 35-7 to the San Francisco 49ers. Therefore, now Naitch might have some different opinions about Brady, which he can share in a later episode of his podcast.

Ric Flair uses Brady along with other sports persons as an example
In To Be The Man #32 episode of his podcast, ‘The Nature Boy’ used Tom Brady as an example regarding wrestling. He and Conrad Thompson were talking about athletes who could play for a long time when he said Brady’s name.
Flair said, “This is not belittling anybody but not everybody can be Tom Brady and not everybody could be Aaron Rodgers. Not everybody can be Jimmy Brown not everybody can be LeBron James.”
