As a sports entertainment company, WWE knows how to make its mark anywhere. And by anywhere, it means other sports events that have nothing to do with pro-wrestling or WWE.

At the Super Bowl, a championship belt was spotted with Leonard Floyd after the Los Angeles Rams picked up the victory. It was the custom-made Los Angeles Rams belt, and WWE pointed it out while congratulating the team for the victory!

In fact, it seems like the team was more excited about being the Heavyweight Champions than winning the Super Bowl. They were spotted carrying the belt and embracing it while referring to themselves as champions.

It was quite the moment of crossover between the two very different sports.

The custom WWE Los Angeles Rams custom belt was shipped out in time

WWE has often honored teams and individuals from other sports by handing them a championship belt. It’s widely known that everyone loves a WWE Championship belt wrapped around themselves.

The belt arrived just in time for the celebration parade. Previously, other teams have received their custom belt upon winning the Super Bowl.

However, this time the hype around the belt seems to have taken over the actual trophy given to the team for winning the Super Bowl! The team was spotted celebrating with the belt more than the trophy.

Keeping aside the championship belt, WWE played quite a significant role in this year’s Super Bowl.

First, Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, opened the event. It was quite the electrifying moment and reminded everyone of the promos he cut as The Rock in WWE.

Second, there was a point during the game when the WrestleMania season advertisement aired.

Finally, the company stirred up some curiosity when it tweeted a clip of John Cena during the half-time show but deleted it shortly afterward.

It’s unknown exactly why the tweet was deleted, but some believe it could have something to do with the ethnicity of the artists who actually performed during half-time.
