The presence of AEW and WWE is something that cannot be ignored by whoever follows pro wrestling. The two behemoths have been dominating the pro wrestling scene for quite some time. While WWE is almost four decades old, AEW has garnered significant attention since its inception, back in 2019. When these two giants are dominating the industry, it takes a huge announcement to stand out. And that’s what WWE and AEW’s rival promotion did.
Are WWE and AEW set to face tough competition?
Wrestling promotion TNA/Impact made an announcement that no one was expecting. The promotion has announced that for their upcoming Pay-Per-View event, Hard To Kill, the company will be collaborating with the NFL’s Alumni Association. Together with the NFLA’s subsidiary, NFLA Health, TNA would be promoting their new initiative ‘Hurdle for Health.’ The promotion’s stars will kick off the Las Vegas chapter of the initiative together with the NFLAH.

According to the report published by TNA on their website, Hurdle for Health is a community-wide effort by NFLA-H. The goal of this effort is to bring activities to the NFL alumni and eventually expand it to broader, underserved communities.
The Hard to Kill PPV is scheduled for January 13, 2024. As fans are aware, the PPV is one of the biggest events ever held by TNA. Avid watchers of the promotion could expect a major title change.
This happens to be another major collaboration by TNA with a bigger entity. Not many might be aware of the fact that a few weeks ago, TNA had shockingly collaborated with WWE’s parent company.
TNA inks a deal with Endeavor as they aim to expand their horizons
In September 2023, WWE was acquired by the UFC’s parent company. This resulted in the formation of the TKO Group. The group consists of both UFC and WWE and the parent company Endeavor Group governs the two companies. On December 8, 2023, TNA announced their major collaboration with WWE’s parent company, Endeavor Group. A deal was struck between TNA and Endeavor’s Streaming service.

As a part of a multi-year deal, Endeavor would be providing subscriptions to TNA+ to its fans. Apart from that, they would be providing their services to TNA by maintaining the application and website.
