Roman Reigns is currently battling his own demons amidst issues within his Bloodline faction. However, his Wiseman Paul Heyman did not shy away recently from bringing in the personal matter of Tom Brady and his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen’s divorce to uplift the mood of the Undisputed Universal Champion.

Heyman is known for his impeccable mic skills and hype-man abilities. And he again did the same during his and Reigns’ appearance on Tuesday’s First Take prior to the 37-year-old’s match against Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023.

What did Paul Heyman claim while uplifting Roman Reigns and simultaneously taking a dig at Tom Brady’s divorce?

Roman Reigns has reached over 1066 days as champion, and it seemed like there was no stopping him until Jey Uso did it. At MITB 2023, Jey Uso finally pinned Roman Reigns in a tag team match after a massive span of almost three years.

In Detroit, the two cousins will collide to decide the champion and the real tribal chief of The Bloodline. Reigns won the WWE Universal title at Payback 2020, and the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38. However, speaking on the show, Heyman claimed that ever since Reigns won the WWE Universal title, it became the WWE Championship, and everybody forgot about the namesake title completely.

He said, “Roman Reigns becomes the Universal Heavyweight champion and everybody forgets about the WWE title and this becomes THE title in WWE. This becomes the premier attraction. This becomes the Super Bowl ring. ”

However, in the process of uplifting Reigns, Heyman would make a brutal statement about Brady’s infamous divorce from his former wife Gisele Bundchen. He said, “This becomes what Tom Brady is after. And we don’t have to give half to Gisele (Bundchen)’s attorneys. This is what the title becomes in WWE. Roman Reigns looks over and he says, wow, I want them both. I’m the Tribal Chief. I want the history and I want the future.”

Fans are now excited to see what WWE has in store for Reigns and Uso at SummerSlam and if at all, Jey Uso would be able to keep Roman Reigns down for the three count.

WWE might have a surprise appearance planned for SummerSlam 2023

WWE SummerSlam 2023 is just around the corner and will see Roman Reigns take on Jey Uso in a tribal combat. The two Anoa’i family wrestlers are to battle their personal differences in the coming weekend, and fans might potentially see a new champion and a tribal chief.
