Ahead of the Colorado vs. Colorado State matchup, Johnson made a thunderous appearance during Sanders’ interview at ESPN College GameDay.

He made his way through the crowd, and the joyful coach couldn’t help but share a warm hug with The Rock. As the two shared a warm conversation, the event witnessed a massive surge in excitement with the presence of The Great One.

However, it’s the post-match interview with Sanders that has the internet buzzing. During the interview, one reporter asked him what was his favorite moment from the entire event. Though he had a bunch of them, his answer involving the Rock raised curiosity.

Talking about DJ, the coach quoted: “The Rock could be our president if he wants to be and we need 390 million followers. I mean, if he just asks everyone to give a dollar to the university, I think we have no problems”

While the answer might seem candid and greedy to some, the tonality suggests a rather cheeky response. This comes from a person who clearly understands The Rock’s stardom. This particularity makes sense, considering the $800 million star has a staggering following of over 390 million followers on his Instagram alone.

And keeping in mind the ruckus he caused in terms of the excitement at GameDay and the carnage he made, especially in WWE, proves why his reach is beyond one’s imagination.

Dwayne Johnson is the biggest needle-mover

There is no denying that SmackDown solely broke viewership records on social media due to the presence of DJ.

The 51-year-old recently faced a bit of controversy for his video with Oprah Winfrey regarding the Maui incident, asking people to make donations despite having so much wealth themselves.

However, the star overshadowed that criticism with his return to WWE. Ultimately, the controversy created no issues as his domination on SmackDown showcased why he’s the biggest needle mover in WWE.

Not just among fans online, but his return led to the last episode, being the highest-grossing event in Denver history for WWE. Hence, it’s clear why Sanders could have a greedy motive knowing Johnson’s market value.
