Kurt Angle has done it all in this professional wrestling business. And when a legend like him praises someone, then that person is indeed a special someone.
The pro wrestling world had its eyes set on WWE WrestleMania 38 earlier this month. Several superstars contested at this year’s WrestleMania.
Though there were some regular names, there were also some surprises. One person who competed in his first WrestleMania match was former football punter, Pat McAfee.

McAfee is a popular individual in the football world. He has also played in the NFL before retiring and signing for WWE.
His fans have not seen him in action on the football field for a long time. But earlier this month, they got to see him displaying his pro wrestling skills.
Not only did Pat McAfee impress his fans with his WrestleMania 38 performance, but he also impressed WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.
During an episode of The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle heavily praised Pat McAfee for his impressive performance at WrestleMania 38.

Kurt Angle said, “Pat McAfee was the surprise performance at WrestleMania. I would’ve never expected him to do what he did, that was pretty amazing, especially for a non-wrestler.”
“That jump to the top rope was impressive, and then the Superplex? Wow! He has some good leaps, he’s a great athlete,” he added. (H/T: WrestlingInc)
Pat McAfee competed in two matches at WrestleMania 38
Pat McAfee is the only individual who competed in two matches at this year’s WrestleMania. He first competed in a match against Theory, who considers himself to be Vince McMahon’s protégé.
Mr. McMahon was present at ringside as Pat McAfee picked up an impressive victory against Theory. But following that victory, he took part in another match almost instantly.

This time, it was against the WWE chairman, Vince McMahon. After getting some help from Theory, Vince had total control of the match.
After punishing Pat McAfee for a few minutes, Mr. McMahon picked up the win over the former football punter.

Later, Theory, McAfee, and Vince McMahon all got hit by a Stunner from Stone Cold Steve Austin, who made a surprise appearance on Night Two of WrestleMania 38.
