NFL legend Tom Brady announced his retirement one month back on February 1st, 2022. However, recently a month later he announced that he will come out of retirement for this year’s season. Many fans, sports personalities, and even WWE superstars reacted to this news on their social media.

One of the WWE personalities was Ric Flair, who reacted to Tom Brady’s recent news. A Twitter page of NFL memes shared a video of Ric Flair saying he will never retire in a promo on RAW. The Caption said, “Tom Brady right now”

Ric Flair, who is now enjoying his retirement and is most active on social media nowadays, quickly replied to the post. He added the caption, “Because Me And Tom Can Do What We Want To Do! WOOOOO!!!!! 🐐🐐”

Saying this, Ric Flair hinted at a WWE return. Flair also did the same thing as Brady did. Flair announced his retirement from wrestling after his match with Shawn Michaels in 2008. However, Flair came out of retirement to have several matches.

The Nature Boy had matches in WWE, Ring of Honor, and “Hulkamania: Let The Battle Begin” tour of Australia. He never stopped to wrestle, even after announcing retirement in Vince’s company.

Flair in 2010 signed a contract with TNA, now Impact Wrestling. He had some matches in the company. Eventually, he finally retired from wrestling this time in 2012. Since then, The Nature Boy has made sporadic appearances in WWE until leaving the company in 2021.

Is Ric Flair really returning to WWE?

The Nature Boy, after hanging up his boots, was under contract with WWE from 2012. He made sporadic appearances on weekly shows and sometimes was at ringside for Charlotte Flair’s matches. However, Ric Flair asked for his WWE release in 2021 and he left the company. His segments with Lacey Evans were his last appearance in the company as of today.

Post WWE release, he appeared in AAA alongside Andrade “El Idolo.” He also made his return to NWA for the first time after 2008. As this new docuseries EVIL releases later in March, it seems WWE is again joining hands with Ric Flair. We can see The Nature Boy in Vince’s company more in the coming years.
