The Pat McAfee Show and FanDuel have signed a contract that is worth approximately $30 million annually. This is possibly one of the highest amounts for a contract in sports media.
This deal is worth much more than what he would have made had he stayed on with the NFL. He left NFL to create content and many believed he was making a major mistake.
But now, he’s signed one of the most lucrative sports media deals with his show, and nothing could seem like a better plan at the moment!

Reportedly, a four-year deal has been signed between the parties. Apparently, there is an opt-out clause after three years. McAfee himself revealed the news on his YouTube channel and said it was for an absurd amount of money!
He clarified that the money wasn’t an indication that FanDuel owned The Pat McAfee show. Instead, it was to lock his show with them as the exclusive sports book partner and do their show in a bigger way.
Pat McAfee left millions of dollars on the table when he retired from the NFL.
He wanted to start creating content & people thought he was insane.
Now, just 4 years later, he has signed a ~$120 million deal with FanDuel, or roughly 8x what he made in the NFL.
That's legendary.
