Moving into the pre-season, the Cincinnati Bengals uploaded a sneak peek of their quarterback, Joe Burrow, and how he will probably look in all the upcoming matches. While he seems to rocking the new hairstyle, fans couldn’t help but connect his appearance with Cody Rhodes and the hip-hop icon, Eminem.

The Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL took to X to post a picture of the former LSU football player. He can be seen sporting a plain red, round-neck T-shirt. But the main highlight of the image is his new hairstyle. The athlete seems to have dyed his hair either white or a very light shade of blonde. And to top it all off, he has a buzz cut now.

While the 27-year-old looks amazing as ever with this new hairstyle, fans couldn’t help but notice the similarities between him and two of the most famous men in their respective fields. The color and the haircut represent Cody Rhodes’ current style that he has been rocking for quite some time now and also resembles a style that Eminem once had.

It could be that the fans connecting Burrow’s appearance to Eminem’s may also be fans of the Stamford-based company. This is because the internet wrestling community already seems to be sensitive when the topic is ‘hip hop’ and they wish for the promotion to take the music genre seriously. But the reactions this time around can surely tickle you.

This potentially unintentional crossover getting acknowledged by the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion himself may not have been on your list for 2024, yet here we are.

A fan couldn’t help but go into denial seeing such an absurd resemblance between the two athletes. As a result, they commented exactly what they thought when first seeing the post by the Bengals. It was unexpected to see The American Nightmare getting posted by an NFL team.

Another X user pointed out how Joe Burrow looks similar to a WWE Hall of Famer’s son. It seems like the top wrestling talent has got one more brother to add to his sports-enthusiast family.

Eminem recently dropped his twelfth studio album called The Death of Slim Shady on the 12th of July. This fan used that to reference how two things happened at once. He dropped a new album while also getting ‘jacked’ in the process.

Yet again shout out to the ‘real Slim Shady’ of the hip-hop world. Fans under the post seem to have a lot of admiration for Eminem’s work, as they are comparing the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback to him.

Somebody in the comment section even changed Burrow’s full name. They kept his first name, replaced his middle name with Eminem’s popular stage moniker, and kept Cody Rhodes’ wrestling surname. This constituted a hilarious made-up name.
