Brock Lesnar left WWE after WrestleMania 20, frustrated over the travel schedule of the company. Even though WWE had major plans for The Beast Incarnate, he wasn’t interested in going ahead with those unless Vince McMahon lighten his schedule.

However, upon leaving WWE, he joined the Minnesota Vikings, who also released him a couple of months later. Moreover, while he was without a job, he received many other job offers which he refused.

In his autobiography, Death Clutch, Brock Lesnar stated all those job offers he received while he was unemployed. The Conqueror refused all those offers as he thought it wasn’t what suited for Lesnar to do.

He wrote, “I had no interest in some of the weird offers that were coming in. Tabloid news shows want to pay me for my story? No thanks. Stupid meathead movie roles?I think I’ll pass on those, too.”

The former UFC star added, “Autograph-signing appearances in shopping malls? I’m sorry, that’s just not my style. I have never been one to prostitute myself out for the quick buck.”’

After the NFL team Minnesota Vikings released Lesnar, he was without a job for thirty days. Nevertheless, The Beast being himself, refused all the offers and was just waiting for a miracle for his WWE non-compete clause to somehow turn void.

Brock Lesnar met Vince McMahon for a WWE contract after his NFL career was done

The non-compete clause Brock Lesnar signed was a completely different one. The clause stated that the 7-time WWE Champion would never be able to join any wrestling or combat sports company. Therefore, decided to pursue an NFL career and joined the team Minnesota Vikings.

However, after two months, the Vikings’ management released him. Hence, being jobless made him think to go back to WWE. Lesnar’s lawyer quickly set a meeting with Vince McMahon for a possible contract which WWE shared on their website.

Surprisingly, it shocked The Conqueror when Mr. McMahon offered him a contract. The new contract paid him less money and was a rookie deal that he didn’t sign during his first run. At the time, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion was also slightly interested in wrestling in the NJPW. Since Vinne-Mac offered him a rookie contract, Lesnar signed with NJPW and wrestled there for a while.
