“My Dream Would Be…”: George Kittle Explains How to Book Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns & Dwayne Johnson at WrestleMania 40 Ahead of Super Bowl

The #WeWantCody wave has intensified to a deafening and widespread level on social media courtesy of the WWE Universe. The latest development in WWE has forcefully made Cody Rhodes relinquish his rightfully earned title shot at WrestleMania 40. While Roman Reigns’ new opponent is another fan-favorite, Dwayne Johnson, the WWE Universe just isn’t having it. The sheer amount of posts and tweets made because of this reached the X feed of renowned NFL star George Kittle.

A recent social media post saw the San Francisco 49ers tight end give his take on this Cody Rhodes situation. In fact, he even suggested how Dwayne Johnson and Roman Reigns should be booked alongside him.

When an NFL star brought out his inner WWE fan

The storm brewed by the forced demotion of Cody Rhodes saw the insane smashing of the dislike button on WWE videos. The hashtag created by fans was seen getting cross-sports attention from Kittle right before the Super Bowl. A tweet on X by the official NFL handle shared a video of Kittle abruptly talking about the WWE fiasco while addressing a crowd for the SB Opening Night. George Kittle said, “We’re starting off hot and I love it. That is the question I’ve been wanting to, ooh. So, it’s funny, you see everything online and everyone’s talking about #WeWantCody or it’s Roman and The Rock. You know what? I’m a huge Cody Rhodes fan.”

Many thought that Kittle already knew which side he was on after this statement.

However, he continued, “I like Roman Reigns, The Rock. Hey he coined the term, the people’s title and, so I’m indebted to The Rock. Huge fan of his. Honestly, my dream would be like, kind of a setup. Roman shows up, I saw this online, signs a contract, Cody’s on the other side, The Rock referees.” This is a very plausible plotline WWE could go with.

But many fans are strictly rooting for Cody Rhodes, and want nothing to do with Johnson.

Dwayne Johnson played one of the biggest heels in the WWE and made a highly successful pro wrestling career out of it. However, the amount of hate he is getting right now is far more than what even the most despicable of the heels get. Many Cody Rhodes fans have downright asked The Rock to retire from WWE.

A lot of them are also angry about the fact that Dwayne Johnson is now a TKO board member. The wrestling community dreads the prospect of the Hollywood star inserting himself into inappropriate situations after the now setup match against Reigns. The WWE Universe had been waiting for a clash between Johnson and Roman Reigns for a long time.
