The Rock has been vocal about his childhood dream of becoming an NFL player and winning the Super Bowl. Even though he did not succeed in it, he did something that was a ‘dream come true’ moment for him.
Johnson’s witty comment
Johnson’s wish to be a part of the Super Bowl came true in 2019. However, he wasn’t the one singing the national anthem this time. After actress Amy Bailey’s tweet sharing the Hobs and Shaw trailer and mentioning Johnson’s appearance in Super Bowl, he humorously replied to the tweet.
Amy I tried to sing the national anthem but they refused to let me sing in keys that don’t exist 🤦🏽♂️

In his reply, the former wrestler revealed that the NFL authorities didn’t allow Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to sing the national anthem. Further, he also added a witty statement that says, “they refused to let me sing in keys that don’t exist.”
Despite his failure in singing the national anthem in Super Bowl 2019, his fans are more than happy to witness Johnson’s wife doing it in 2022. It happened after a few years, but it’s better late than never. Johnson’s moment in the Super Bowl would come a little later.
My long time dream was to have a career in the @NFL & win a #SuperBowl.

He was correct while admitting this on social media because the Super Bowl invited him to provide the on-field match introduction. And he did it at the SoFi stadium, presenting his ‘larger than life’ personality.
