Recently undergoing several crises, Dwayne Johnson was under a lot of trouble. After suffering a major $60 million loss with XFL, a box-office failure with Black Adam, and losing out on several other projects, things were not going well for Johnson. However, recently, a close associate and friend of Johnson came to his aid and spoke in his defense.

Being a veteran in the entertainment industry, Johnson has made a lot of close friends, and during his time of need, they are coming by his side.

Marcellus Wiley, a former NFL player recently spoke on his YouTube channel and defended Johnson against all the allegations against him. Former wrestler Rhaka Khan recently made a major lawsuit worth $3 billion against Johnson, and several other names in WWE.

The lawsuit in turn led to The Brahma Bull reportedly losing out on his film role in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. After Johnny Depp was let go of his services by Disney after the Amber Heard controversy, Johnson was roped in as the replacement.

However, after the lawsuit came to limelight, Disney found it better to let go of The Brahma Bull of WWE from the $4.5 billion franchise. In this context, Marcellus Wiley stated, “I know The Rock personally.” He continued, “ I think he’s an amazing guy. I know a lot of amazing people. Now even some people that I know have done some really bad things. Like, I know a murderer, for real.”

He further said, “I would love to testify and tell everyone how amazing The Rock is. But can you do that for everyone you know? To the fullest, to the 100%, its gonna be interesting to see what comes from this. But, I’m glad that Disney is treating him as an innocent guy until proven guilty. Except, for the little hypocrisy in there because he’s not being allowed for The Pirates of the Caribbean movie. “

Disney has a history of not adhering to the ‘innocent until proven guilty’ concept and had previously let Depp let go of his services moments after Amber Heard had lodged complaints against him. However, after the lawsuit, when Depp came out innocent, he refused on working with the studios anymore.

He will also star in the holiday movie ‘Red One’ later this year alongside Chris Evans.
