Kansas City Chiefs defeated the New York Jets in the Sunday Night Football game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The night was star-studded and saw many celebrities attend the game, including Chiefs Tight Ends’ rumored girlfriend, Taylor Swift. With her presence, the win must have felt even more special for Travis Kelce. But it appears as if WWE has ruined his special moment.

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, he was targeted for his escapade with the popular singer and songwriter.

Wade Barrett attacks Travis Kelce on Live TV

From Johnny Gargano’s return to Rhea Ripley’s comeback, this week’s Raw was nothing less than an action-packed rollercoaster ride full of surprises. The show was not short of drama and excitement. The fans surely enjoyed the show and so did George Kittle who was present in the crowd.

Speaking of which, using Kittle as a reference, RAW color commentator Wade Barrett took a dig at Kelce. He said, “Nice to see a tight end who doesn’t need to date Taylor Swift to put himself on the map.” This was a direct shot at the Chiefs’ Tight End, as Barret was very clear with his words while laying out the insult on live TV.

It could be possible that Barret is a Jets fan and couldn’t handle their loss to the Chiefs very well. Therefore, he insulted Kelce on Raw this week. Way to ruin a special moment, Barret! For a while now, Kelce and Swift’s names have been linked to each other. Social media is strongly suggesting that there is something going on between the two superstars.

To get to the bottom of this matter, we need a flashback to July. The first time rumors about their dating started popping up on the internet after Kelce was seen attending Swift’s Eras Tour at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on July 8.

On July 26, the Super Bowl Champ fueled the rumors when he revealed that he had made a friendship bracelet for Swift with his phone number on it. He wanted to give it during his visit to the Era Tour. But he was unsuccessful in his attempt, as he failed to meet her during his visit.

For the first half of September, he kept teasing the fans about his situationship with Swift until finally revealing his feelings on The Pat McAfee Show. The world got to know that he has a crush on the pop icon when the former revealed that he invited her to Kansas Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.

Swift accepted the request and was seen during the game. Once again, she was present for another game at Chiefs vs. Jets in Jersey. The two celebrities haven’t made their relationship official.
