Former WWE champion, Dwayne Johnson, aka, ‘The Rock’ is known for his electrifying promos that he used to do back in his wrestling days. Chiefly, The Rock brought that back before the Super Bowl LVI kick-off last night.

The Brahma Bull stood on the field before the event and took everyone by surprise when he grabbed the mic and introduced the two opposing teams – Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams. This whole segment was such a wholesome moment for fans as it felt like The Rock was back inside the squared circle, cutting a promo.

Dwayne Johnson tapped into his The Rock persona for the Super Bowl

No one in the live crowd expected that The Rock will address the crowd just like he used to when he was in WWE. One reason for this is that The Rock has not done this outside of wrestling, and seeing him getting back his WWE touch is a noteworthy moment.

Eventually, The Rock started his introduction and praised the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals with electrifying comments.

“Finally!!! The Super Bowl has come back to Los Angeles. It is time. Time for a team to unleash a soul-crushing and unrelenting defense. A head-splitting onslaught of an offense and take care of unfinished business right here and right now. Ladies and Gentlemen, the champions of the NFC, your Los Angeles Rams.

It is time. Time for a team that has risen from the ashes and become one of the most feared, dominant, and absolutely electrifying teams in the NFL. Time to give their city, their first Super Bowl win in franchise history. Ladies and Gentlemen, the champions of the AFC, your Cincinnati Bengals.” said The Rock.

Dwayne Johnson was not his usual self today, as he stood just like The Rock and even raised his eyebrow. Just like the Super Bowl’s halftime show, the opening segment of the event was also great.
