After years of hard work, Dwayne Johnson is living a life he always promised himself as a youngster. Surely, his NFL dreams were crushed early on, but he jumped back through WWE and later entered Hollywood. Once a former NFL player who revealed the truth about The Rock’s college football career, praised him for achieving the lifestyle DJ has today, despite showing little jealousy.
The 50-year-old Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle played alongside Johnson at the University of Miami and knew him well when they were teammates.

The Rock entered his family business aka pro wrestling and turned his life in an upward direction. Following his stardom in WWE he tried his hand in acting. It was difficult but ‘The Great One’ achieved success and built a great life for himself.
Three years ago in 2019, former NFL player Warren Sapp appeared on the Rich Eisen show. He had spent a good amount of time with The Rock playing football at the University of Miami. The former Oakland Raiders player praised Johnson for his lifestyle.
Sapp said, “No, no we are fine. I’m not waking at 4:30 in the morning and going to the Prima Prize gym to lift with him. He has a jet, family, and everything it’s wonderful. Go ahead and do your thing. I love watching the movies, love watching.”
He added, “Like I said I love watching the movies and I would love to come back to the University of Miami like we played in Florida, the kick-off. (But) He’s not there.”
No doubt The Rock is living a great life today. This was three years ago, and since then DJ has come a long way and become a much bigger star.

Nevertheless, before praising the WWE legend, Sapp also told the actual position Johnson had on the football field while playing. Also, he shared whom he had to contact to bring ‘The People’s Champion’ back to the field once.
Warren Sapp shares two close people to The Rock from college
‘The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment’ had two close friends while his time at UoM. The 50-year-old former NFL player named them and claimed to have contacted them to get The Rock back to the University.
The 2002 Super Bowl winner said, “I need to issue Kevin Patrick and Cryer. Those were the guys who ran real tight with him. Oh, yeah those were his boys.”
