Degrading Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns’ Wiseman Claims “The Tribal Chief” Elevated “Created Championship” to Something NFL Legend “Tom Brady Is After”

Roman Reigns has been the WWE Universal Champion for 1000+ days now. He possesses the record for holding the title for the most number of days in WWE. Brock Lesnar comes in the second spot with a reign of 500+ as the Universal Champion.

Both superstars have brought recognition to the title. But according to Paul Heyman, Reigns has done a better job than Lesnar in elevating the championship. That said, he recently used his scathing words to degrade ‘The Beast’ and also dragged the NFL legend Tom Brady in the process.

Paul Heyman glorifies Roman Reigns

Heyman and his “Tribal Chief” recently sat down for an interview with ESPN First Take. During the interview, he claimed Lesnar couldn’t bring the same level of prestige to the Universal Championship as Reigns did. He deemed that ever since Reigns held the Universal title, its value has increased tremendously.

He stated, “A created championship, 500 days held by Brock Lesnar, started to get a little prestige, never in the class of the WWE Championship. Roman Reigns becomes the Universal Heavyweight Champion, and everybody forgets about the WWE title.

He added that the Universal title became THE TITLE in WWE when Reigns captured it and has become the premier attraction henceforth. Heyman also didn’t spare NFL legend Tom Brady and dragged him into the conversation.

While speaking to the interviewers, ‘The Wiseman’ stated that the Universal title has become as iconic as a SuperBowl ring now. That’s why even Brady is after it. “This becomes what Tom Brady is after. And we don’t have to give half to Gisele (Bundchen)’s attorneys. This is what the title becomes in WWE,” he continued.

Heyman may have said this in front of the world in the heat of the moment, but it might trigger an indirect beef between Reigns and Brady. So far Brady hasn’t commented on it. Brady and Gisele Bündchen made their divorce news public in October of last year.

Coming back to Reigns and Heyman, ‘The Special Counsel’ not only deemed Lesnar’s Universal Championship reign inferior to that of ‘The Head of the Table’ but also to several other WWE superstars who have held the title in the past.
